Partner

Sabina was made a Partner of Common Places in April 2011 having been a key part of the teams on many of their projects and initiatives. Her core responsibilities now include the business development, Social Enterprise and business advisory elements of the organisation.

Sabina is a former Director at Riverford Organic Vegetables and is now Director of four organisations; Executive Director with The UK-wide Social Enterprise Mark Company, Non Executive Director of Open College Network South West as well as two local Community Interest Companies.  Her project work has particularly focused on the financial appraisal and contract management elements of Common Places work (see Common Places Report ).

Contracts for Common Places have included the Options/Financial Appraisals for Old Duchy Palace in Lostwithiel, setting out a business plan for Minehead Development Trust (for the community to take on the Old Hospital Building since its closure), contract Management of local projects as part of the Empowering Communities Agenda for Creating Excellence, undertaken business modelling for an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure model in Somerset and being part of the team undertaking Community Plan Reviews.  Sabina is particularly interested in the Social Enterprise elements of Common Places work.
