The partners within Common Places have worked for many years with a huge range of communities and organisations. This range has continued to expand since the organisation was formed in 2008. The following examples of projects demonstrate the range of initiatives the organisation has itself been involved with since its inception:
Action for Market Towns – Training package for community-led planning for towns. Community-led Planning facilitation, including Kingsteignton Community Planning Implementation Group; Neighbourhood Development Plan.
AECOM Design + Planning - Community Facilitation, helping to deliver a Vision for Penzance and Newlyn, developing the Statement of Community Involvement with the Framework Plan for that area.
Cornwall Buildings Preservation Trust - Options Appraisal and Business Plan for the Old Duchy Palace
Cornwall Council - Community Network Management for Saltash and Torpoint / Community Project Development.
Cornwall Towns Association - Development of Community Planning Database and future strategy
Creating Excellence - Contract Management of a range of Community Projects across the South West of England. Part of Empowerment Works Programme.

Reaction Electric – Options Appraisal and Business Planning for community-based rural Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (charging posts) in Somerset and beyond.
Saltash and Torpoint (Cornwall Gateway Community Network Area), Cornwall Council – Project Development and support for a range of projects in the Saltash and Torpoint area
